Almost all of the Type 2/Vanagon/Eurovan based lists sprang from the Vanagon
List many, many years ago.  A former member of the Vanagon List that
migrated to the Type 2 & Vintage Bus List was the VW Toyman & Enthusiast
Extraordaire Unca Jerry Jess.  For those who do not yet know, I wanted to
pass along his status as he experienced a stroke earlier today.  Our
thoughts and prayers go out to him and Melissa tonight.

This afternoon, Jerry had a severe stroke which paralyzed him and took away
his speech.  He is doing a bit better this evening.  He can speak with
difficulty and move most of the left side of his body. His right leg is
still paralyzed and he only has partial use of his right arm.  He is in
intensive care at the Mayo Clinic Hospital.



Prayers and good thoughts are desperately needed.
