It appears that this thread shifted from the original discussion about the piece on the forward firewall, where the big hoses join and which has the bleeder (which bleeds internally when the valve is opened) and which has the small hose that connects to the heater pipe that runs across the top of the engine, to the "H" pipe that is just off the expansion tank.

I only mention this to alleviate confusion.
