Just got a note about the tubes and what they may or may not fit. This listee, says the the tubes will not pass through the frame cross members, nor easily enter the engine compartment of the 84 or 83.5. Dont know. I put plastic coolant tubes from a 86, into my early 85, that came with steel tubes.Same diameter as the late 85 plactic tubes as with the 86.Not sure about the entering the engine compartment issue. I used a top radiater hose from a mazda 626 to complete the connection to the engine,on one of the tubes, as the 86 tube was too short.Dont remember that the actual size was an issue for my early 85.Anyway,they are avaliable, along with the rubber hoses and bails, for connectiong at both ends.. |
