Hi Gregor, Its a sad statement to have to say out loud, but your not going to stop a motivated thief! Over the years I have had several vehicles broken into, and I have given up trying to stop them. I no longer keep anything of much value in my car, truck, bus. ( I try to set the limit at my insurance deducible) Also I don't lock it, yes I said I don't lock it! The reason being, the last time, the A...hole done almost $3500.00 worth of damage for a $150.00 radio. The insurance deducible was $500.00, so I was at a loss no matter what. Hell if he would have called me the day before and ask, I would have pulled the radio and put on the hood for him. Judging by the face plate pieces left on the floor and the pry marks on the dash, he ruined the damn thing getting it out. "dat crack make u crazy" Keep your goodies at home when your not camping, put a hidden battery disconnect switch on it and leave the doors un-locked. In the long run you'll come out dollars ahead! Good luck.
