No. That wasn't a South African Grill. That was the poor mans equivalent, but a nice job none the less.

Standard grill for round headlights, that the owner and made cuts in to accomodate a 2nd pair of round lights. Then added a round plastic surround and TINY driving lights (maybe 2 inch diameter each). Clever, and unique. I don't know how well the tiny lights illumination is, but if they are dedicated driving lights, they probably help quite a lot.
