Subject: Engine Gas Lines/injectors Done, Still Stuttering!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Ok, we finally finished replacing the gas lines from the tank to and through the engine. The tank comes next in a few week. Followed an older lead by someone who rigged a set-up to clean the injectors by hooking up a scrapped connector from a junk yard and using injector cleaner tricked them to open and flushed. Felt like we were back in a science lab! Re assembled everything and it started just fine (after remembering to reconnect the injector relay!).

Still has the stumbling problem though between 1-3 gears. Almost like it is over choked. Never had this problem on a vanagon before. Tried disconnecting the ox. sensor and that does not really clear the problem totally... it runs better, but not like I would think. Same with the air sensor valve disconnect and lots of variations amongst the two. Distributor wires, cap, rotor, plugs all look great and are very new. Spark plug connections are tight. We're gonna try installing the capacator next and see what we get. Slowly but surely keep thinking each component through!! Any more ideas on the stumbling/stuttering will be appreciated.
