Subject: Buses by the Depot - Was it a promotional event / who cares

Volks,

Who the cares why any event was organized the important thing "IT WAS".

Any reason to get a collection of insane VeeDub Bus enthusiasts together is reason enough.

A few years ago I drove from AZ to DC (2249 miles) for Tom's one day Holiday gathering in November.

Seemed like a good idea.

Last year I decided to go camping at one of my favorite primitive areas, for a lark I announced it as the "AZ Land of No Campout".

Bev Beam was in the area so I knew she and I would be there .. beyond that who knows.

Damn if 20 busses from 4 states didn't turn up.

You are all insane and incredible and I love it.

P/S .. I thought Ron was about 100 yrs old but damn he's a kid :)

good road, good adventure, good life, larry chase www.roadhaus.com soon to be roadhaus.org
