I'm know some people have swapped out seats with other choices, but I have
never heard the details of what is involved.  Do you transfer the mounting
sliding brackets to the new seats, or are some VW seats directly compatible?
  Do you bolt a piece of plywood on the underside so you can attach the
sliders?  And what seats are a nice fit for the vanagon?  Any experience out
there?  Thanks
