Subject: Bumpers, Chrome v. Fiberglass
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

I was surprised to find that the bumper on my '90 is NOT in fact fiberglass.

I thought that everything T3 came fiberglass by '90!

Most of the chrome on the current bumpers (mainly rear) is peeling off, and the steel composite underneath is pretty oxidized.

As such, I'm looking at options.

Am I correct in the assumption that the mounting brackets for the fiberglass are different than the steel?

In other words, I can't just swap my current bumpers out for fiberglass ones, can I?
