thats a stock westy interior. from 74-79 westfalia-werke offered 2 westfalia interiors.. standard and deluxe. the standard had the icebox and the sink, and the deluxe got the fridge, and stove and LP tank.

they carried this over into the aircooled vanagons too. from 80-83 you could get either the standard P22, or deluxe P24 (or is it P27?..its raining and i dont want to go out and look) westy interiors.

the standard westy interior (P22) is desirable because it has:

-full width rear sofabed

-left rear cabinet is the one that is shorter from front to back, therefore you can use it in any vanagon w/ a full width rear sofabed as well -water tank is under the full width rear sofabed -there is a padded storage bench along the left wall with the cushion the same height as the sofabed seatbottom, that takes the place of where the water tank would be if it was a full deluxe westy -no stove or LP tank or working fridge, just a sink and an ice box (ice box is the same size as the working fridge in the deluxe full westys)

it would be worth your time to pull it if its in a junkyard..

also pull the glove"box" parcel tray.. i'd be interested in that.. i do a mod to make them fit the drivers side around the steering column :<)
