That was a standard model P22 offered in 1980-81 at least. More seating, larger bed, more cabin living space. It has no propane, so no stove. No fridge either, just an icebox and sink in a narrower kitchen cabinet. The storage area under the sink is a little narrower to allow the full width bench seat to fold out into a bed, while the icebox section is the same size as the full Westy fridge but a little closer to the driver;s seat. Since the water tank is under one end of the rear bench, less under bench storage.

I helped a friend upgrade one of these smaller kitchen units. We pulled the icebox and put a Dometic 182 in it's place. We also mounted a stove into the existing sink top, using the stove guts from a full Westy along with a propane tank. Not a simple bolt in conversion but not too hard. The result is more seating, larger bed, more cabin space, with the same cooking and refrigeration of the Deluxe model. Sadly, all the P22 models I have ever seen were the dark wood grain finish and I don't care for it as much.

I have since seen VW T3 campers for sale in Europe that had the propane stuff with the narrow kitchen. There was a more diverse selection of options sold there.
