On February 10-11th, 2007, plan on being at the 3rd Annual Buses by the Beach Bus BRR! at Pokagon State Park in Angola, Indiana. Lots of crock pot chili (courtesy of the electric hook ups) a really crazy dual refrigerated toboggan run, and much camaraderie around the big fire. Last year, we got 2" of snow while tobogganing, then came back to a nice warm fire (Thanks, Rick Mangona-Suite '78!) and several different kinds of hot chili. Then the clouds parted and the moon came out in a crystal clear sky. One of those special moments where you wonder why everybody doesn't own a bus and do fun things like this.

We lined our poptops with mylar trouble blankets, ran the little electric heaters and wore hats (thanks Greg Potts) and never got cold. We fought over who would have Mac, our Golden Retriever sleep near them. Had a candle going in the bus, too. Really cozy.
