I have a somewhat similar problem with my Propex, mounted in the same
place.  Check the rotation/orientation of the heat vent.  It turns and will
direct the heated air.  I've set mine to blow as straight out as I can and
that helps.  I've also found that I am getting heated air flowing back over
the bed area but it is disbursed and that area heats up slowly.
