Subject: alternator pulley part numbers
Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII; format=flowed

i'm stock piling parts to put another golf 1.8 digifant engine in a vanagon. i want to delete the ac and power steering so i need the correct alternator pulley. i went through this before with the dealer and couldn't come to a resolution on which of the five or so part numbers were the correct ones. i ended up using a scirocco alternator that i had on the shelf with the right pulley, but now i don't have anymore of those pulleys on the shelf. so i'm wondering what the correct part number is for a golf alternator pulley on a car that had no ac or power steering. i would also like to get the number for a car with no ac but WITH power steering. additionally i am wondering if the part number can be associated with the different lengths of the pulleys?
