I have used Laso syncro's on my rebuilds for years..They are a moly coated German syncro and have almost no issues with them regardless of the oil used...I have also heard of a reputable shop and rebuilder in SoCal that has had similar issues.. Redline makes these trannys shift easier when cold typically, But I am starting to see more and more wear on the gears syncro teeth themselves...Instead of a nice sharp tooth they are getting rounded off and that makes it harder for them to engage the slider teeth (also getting more tired). See it on more and more of the cores I get back. I deal with most all of the shops here in the Seattle area and very few of them use anything other than genaric gear oil..If that one came back to me, I would repl the 1st and 2nd gears and the 1/2 slider..
