Well, Mike since you are talking about your thoughts on the design, I will say this - I agree with both of your point and I will add my other dislikes:

*How about some round headlights? *put a damn rear view mirroe in it and ditch the rear view camera thing *Lose the video game ports and monitors in the seat head rests

My thought is about versatility, function, and camping - not gadgets that drive prices up.

Not saying I'm right - just my opinions.

And whoever said it was ugly is right but look what we are all driving now - a Vanagon is a thing of beauty to me but its ugliness makes it that way.
