Nathaniel,

I purchased an AVP long block for an 81 air-cooled Westy I used to own. I ran it for over 150,000 miles and it was still running great when I sold it. A friend of mine installed an AVP rebuild in his 78 bus and he and his wife have traveled all across the western US in it with no problems. They love it. Have you looked into AVP?

(I have no financial interest in AVP. I'm only a satisfied customer.)

Warren L. 88 Westy "Billy Bones"
