Subject: How to get those van parts you want shipped to vancouver Isl,
              BC. CA
Content-type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Well this is maybe for those 8 of us on vancouver Isl. BC with Vanagons that order hard to get us sourced parts ... the rest of you guys can just hit delete since this is just noise for yah :)...

But the light just went on when ordering those part you want from the vendor in us that wont ship to .ca but will send em ups, fedex & those great us ground rates < 10 usually

Tell that US vendor to drop ship to Clipper Cargo C/O Your Name 2701 Alaskan way Pier 69 Seattle, 98121

When they get to Victoria, BC inner harbour they call you to go pick em up & pay $21 up to 40lbs then .47/lb excess weight .... then 13% sls tx done deal, ( no brokerage since you do the paper work)

In my case it was wanting Hankooks RA08 195's (13lbs each) that are us only from tire-easy.com they are 64/tire then 53/tire to ship (5*53=265) :( dropped shipped to seattle they are 10/tire then 21 + (5 * 13) - 40 *..47 =(11) -> $32 for shipping to van isls + 50 so we land em here for $82 shipping ... 80/tire < 100 cdn
