IMHO, this is one of the two best conversions ever done with a vanagon. The
other, very similar one, is the weinsberg, which has slightly more cabinets
and a minimally more elegant roof. I totally like the idea of a high and pop
top. I was offered a syncro 16" in this configuration in germany recently
for around $6k but didnt have the money for the import...... grrrrrrrrr.
should have just bought it and stored it.... but also it was an 87 so you
cannot import it anyway that easily, unless you wait until 2012......
