Subject:      Very loud screech when AC compressor turns on

91 AT Carat.

When AC is turned on i get a very loud screech.....checked all belts and
such and lubricated.  But to no avail...it only last for about 30 seconds
and then stops....but a very loud and emabarrising 30 seconds.

Any ideas?  thanks.....by the way AC works great and cold!
