oh really? :<P just kidding rog. :<)
as for the weekender interiors - what your talking about is a wolfsburg or
carat interior and there is no "welded on table bracket" its a bar up under
the window channel thats held on with poprivits. chop the poprivits off and
the long bracket/bar comes off..
heres a tip. remove the 2 bolts from the table hinge to remove the table to
get the big wall panel off. then remove that bar/bracket your talking about.
dont remove the phillips screws that hold the table bracket to the table -
cuz theyre alternated wood/machine and if you dont put them back right you'll
screw them right thru the formica tabletop.
but your a pro at screws rog.. i should know that :<)
rog -if you read the archives, you will see my other posts where i've gone
over this ad-nasuem.
if you think you can install this wallpanel from a wolfsburg carat into a
passenger van without using the wolfsburg carat rear sofabed or right side
wallpanel then your in for some fun stuff.
rog - it aint gonna work unless you get the whole nine yards..including
cutting the welded on seatback latch mounts off the wall.. the wolfsburg/carat
rear sofabed is 2" narrower to accomodate the plastic wallpanels..
you need the whole shebang ...but this is all in the archives, ive wrote it
many times before but people still dont absorb this information....and im
getting tired of typing. plus you have me blocked and you wont see this anyway
LOL so have a good time jamming it into a passenger van without all the parts.
dont bump your head on the table when you realize you have to keep it in
the upright position just to fold the bed down.. LOL
anyway, ive removed and reinstalled plenty of these carat/wolfsburg
interiors... the RIGHT way..with all the parts.. not a halfass job trying to jam the
drivers side wall/table panel into a van without changing the rest of the
stuff..
i've got one of these in my 84..even welded the carat seatback latch mounts
on, and all..works like it would have from the factory.
