I used the GoWesty repair kit and it was easy to install. The hardest part was getting one of my protruding inserts back into the plastic pipe. I used a hair dryer (a heat gun would be better) to heat the plastic pipe and then used a small piece of wood and a hammer to tap the metal insert back into the pipe as far as I could.
