I was driving in my '86 Transporter the other day. The heat was on, upper and lower vents open. I rolled down the passenger window to let the dog get some air. It got a bit chilly, so I opened the middle vent by my left knee. Cold air! I double checked that hot air was coming out the upper and lower vents. I know in my '90 Syncro in that situation I'd have hot air out the middle vent. Did something change between '86 and '90, or is something different between Transporters and Vanagons maybe? Or is something screwy with my ductwork? Thanks, Doug Fitz-Randolph Freeport, ME |
