All information I've seen in the past several years indicates the new microbus concept isn't going forward. The Ohio VW article is old - if you go up one level on their site you'll see it's on a page with articles from 2002-2003... all of which are dated 2006 at the footer. Another tip-off the article is old is that it still provides the workers' salaries in DM.
