archives, though more likely in the syncro AT yahoogroup archives than
here, but I'd check both

some very detailed how-to's have been posted before.

some are about how to remove and reinstall a new one - but that is expensive
some others are about how to fix a broken one, but that is even more
difficult give the plastic tank
