  Hey, just wondering if anyone has any comment on delivery problems with
H&R (the company that makes springs and stuff).  I ordered some wheel
adapters from them (via a vendor) and knowing full well they were special
order I paid and waited.  Now, the vendor said 4-8 weeks.  At 8 weeks, I
emailed the vendor and said, "Any update?"  They said it could be early to
mid November but could be longer.  Now, it's going to be drop shipped
directly from H&R so the vendor is not the delay.  I'm at 12 weeks now and
it could go anywhere from 14 weeks or longer.  Does this sound typical of
H&R?  I know they make good stuff but you'd think they keep at least one of
everything in stock back in Der Fatherland so that even when the last item
is gone, they'd make a small production run.  Regardless, 14 weeks to make a
set of adapters.  This could very well set the stage for me NEVER doing
business with them again and spreading the word to all my VW friends and
customers.  Pretty ridiculous, but hey what do I know, I'm just a VW freak
and customer...  Thanks for any insights, comments and I'm off the soap box
now.
