i have two pairs of vanagon "jailbars"  these are the polished aluminum bars
that go in the rear hatch window as decorative protective trim .   if you are
a vw enthusiast, you will know that all the deluxe split window microbuses in
the 50's and 60's had these as well.
anyway, these are the real deal, made by VW for the vanagon.  fits any
vanagon rear hatch 80-91.  include both horizontal bars and all endcaps and vertical
center bar.  All highly polished shiny aluminum.  these are hard to find..
the only vanagon ever sold in the USA with these was the blue 84 wolfsburg
edition passenger vans..  thats it..   but they look great in all vans.
