Hi all. First off I need to confess, on line, that I am in fact a dunce. In an effort to do something simple (remove RR wheel) I have managed to totally butcher two wheel stud nuts (and damage stud threads on one) with one other nut on its' way to Shredsville. Why me a dunce; I actually ended up tightening two nuts before realizing I was doing it wrong..... D-oh! Then of course the battle began. Vice grips, Cold chisels, heat, drilling, blah-blah butcher-butcher curse-curse. Can wheel studs be replaced without removing hub? I really don't want to be taking off "the big nut". At the rate I'm going today, I just might end up flipping the van on myself trying to "loosen" the big nut (read: turning clockwise!!). Thanks for any help, Neil.
