Subject: Headlight and Relay Upgrade Pics
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

Hello,

Just finished installing the headlight and relay upgrade on my 1988 Camper. I did this with Radio Shack parts and some inspiration from the various upgrade instructions on the web. I found it more convenient to mount the relays on the metal struts under the instrument cluster. You'll notice a blue zip tie holding each relay in place (most of my van is held together with zip ties ;) Fits perfect with the cluster reinstalled.

Here are the cuts I made to the wires under the steering wheel cover:

I'm powering the headlights from my AUX battery, because it was convenient. As an unintended perk, the headlights don't dim when cranking.

I'm very happy with my new lights. No more wondering if my headlights are on! Next step, install another 200W worth of AUX lights on the front bumper and luggage rack!

Cheers, Matt
