Dont think it does.I think this is used on several VW's. That thing is a vaccum pump. Bentley has a report of the cc system in the alt/starter section.Ther eare one or two vaccum release switches on each pedal (clutch /brake). Check em.The vaccum is released when pedal is pressed.The throttle will release instantly,then.An open switch will not let the speed to be set.You can hook up wires to see if the vaccum motor works.Blow into the hose, at several places, and see if there is a leak .where there should not be one.That black thing near the throttle should not leak.Blow into that hose. I got a cc control unit, black thing near the throttle, and vaccum pump for sale. You know the address Jim,:>). http://stores.ebay.com/WerksforWagons
