Tom, Yes, when you add the washer the mirror is still adjustable. I remember it feeling like the perfect amount of drag or tension, but I have only adjusted it the once, after the modification. It has remained in the same place since. Just in case you're wondering, externally the mirror looks unchanged. Stephen DeMocko ('85 Westy Luci)
