I am in Coquitlam and there still a lot of Vanagon's in my area. I am finding recently that more and more Vanagon drivers are giving the friendly wave, which is nice to see. I believe the reason for this is because those that are owning these vehicles now are true Vanagon enthusiast. With regards to finding wrecking yards in the GVRD that have many Vanagon's... good luck. There aren't very many.

Weird that they seem concentrated in certain locales. Of course Van is a hell of a lot bigger than Abby, and we won't even talk about cosmopolitan. But what I don't get is if there are so many of these still around that the boneyards have almost nothing, and what is there is as picked clean as a steer skull in the desert. And a lot of parts guys don't carry a lot of stuff for them (except for the specialty vw shops). If the market is there...
