3m is by far the best out there, there are others that are good, but with 3m, you know you are getting a decent product.

there are 2 types, brushable, and caulk gun style.

Caulk is for a 1/4-1/2 in bead, whereas brushable you can apply very thin to areas you want ot protect.

Be sure to clean the area well, first with a toothbrush and alchol, then use a wax and grease remover.

I don't know if a clear is available, but 3m's website will show what they have.

and be sure to tape off areas yuo don't want the sealer.....
