Subject: Mirrors Floppy Fix
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Volks,

I can't remember who made the suggestion to insert a garden hose rubber washer into the manual mirror to keep them from flopping around, but thanks. My drivers side mirror was super annoying, at freeway speeds 45mph, just kidding, they would fold back. I had already tightened it as much as possible. I had even at one time, cut a cross pattern in the ball side with a moto-tool. The rubber washer was a little big so I cut a pie shaped wedge out so I could wrap it around the mirror's stud. I was happy right away after reassembly, but after more than a month of testing the mirror is still holding strong. Just though I would pass on my thanks and experience.
