I'm putting a Carver under the bench. I removed the OEM rear heater as I never use it so this more than compensates for any loss of space. Looking at a couple other installs, including Richard Jones', and the cover he built for his, the loss of space seems minimal to me, especially in consideration of the improvement of living comfort. bob
