I'm putting a Carver under the bench. I removed the OEM rear heater as I never use it so this more than compensates for any loss of space. Looking at a couple other installs, including Richard Jones', and the cover he built for his, the loss of space seems minimal to me, especially in consideration of the improvement of living comfort.
