your wiper arm/turn sig stalk screws have come loose and are grinding away at the brass contact ring on the back of your steering wheel.

remove horn button, then big 21?mm nut and pull strg wheel off. (oh, make sure your front wheels are straight and u mark TDC otherwise when you remount strg wheel it'll be crooked)

tighten 3 small flathead screws that hold stalk assy to column.. your brass contact ring may be already too far gone.. in which case u need to replace it.. ive done it before, not too hard. i replaced it w/ a good used one.. be sure to put a dab of dialectic (sp?) grease on it when u reinstall
