After doing brake work (MC, wheel cyls. shoes/hardware, steel line) on my van, I noticed the MC would go to floor engine cold. I didn't **recall** it doing that before. Maybe it did..... Strange what we notice once we pay out of the ordinary attention to how things feel/perform/smell..... Regardless brakes ok now though I hear a bit of grinding somewhere. Ack! It's always something!

If clutch engages half way up, or further up in pedal travel, it may just be that clutch is worn more than you thought or noticed before. If it works and doesn't slip, grab, shudder etc., then no worries.

Of course you will have to replace it. Someday.........
