I just put new Hankook RA08 on my 87 Tiico Westy.  I haven't had them
very many miles, but my initial impression of them is excellent.
Smoother ride and better stability than the mish-mash of Agilis, Kumho,
and Laredo tires that my vanagon had collected the last few years.

The RA08s come well recommended from other folks on the list and from
The Bus Depot <http://www.busdepot.com/details/tires.jsp>. Pain in the
rear to find them locally though. Actually, the pain was finding a tire
shop that actually wanted to provide customer service. Lots of shops
said they would check if they could get them and that was the last I
ever heard from them. I kept working down the dealer list on Hankook's
website and finally found a small family-run shop that had a great price
and great service.

Ordering them from Ron at The Bus Depot is probably easiest, but I
couldn't stomach spending a 5th tire in shipping.
