just a shameless plug for AA Transaxle

I delived 4 vanagon trannies to Daryl on Friday and
hung out with him for the day and watched him overhau
my syncro tranny. Wow, like a machine. His shop is
well organized, clean and well equipped.  His tranny
overhaul area is a separte "sterile" area that was
built for this purpose. I also got to peak into Tom
Sinclair's tranny with all of the new shiny parts.
wow.

He also makes a wicked cherry mocha with his
commercial in-shop espresso maker. why of course!

I would not ever hesitate to ship or drive a tranny to
him. pmail me if you want more details. he does all
vw, porsche, audi manual trannies.  He stocks a lot of
parts so if you have a gear hanging out the side of
your case he can probably get you back on the street.
