Subject: Westy rear spring spacers
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Volks,

I got tired of the way my '85 Westy sat. It was all saggy in the back due to the age of the rear springs. I made myself a set of spacers out of 6061 alum. My van needed to be propped up 1 ½ in. In my opinion they look pretty good as they are visible sitting at the top of the springs. Alum looks better to me than another material. They sit above the indented rubber spacer that translates the elliptical shape of the spring to the chassis. I made an extra set of spacers to sell on E-bay, but I thought I would offer them here first. I was hoping to get $125 for the set. If you are interested in a 1 ½ lift, be the first to e-mail me back. I can send a few pictures for those interested. Thanks for the plug space.

Stephen DeMocko

('85 Westy Luci)
