The nut is 24mm. Just take it off(remember the orientation of the steering wheel). The wheel just then pulls off.Dont do this while driving.There is not much in there to rasp.If it is the copper foil ,and you dont want to spend $24, I got the foil from a Vw cabriolet that fit. the plastic it was mounted to,didnt.Never heard of a bearing going bad.I suppose your wiper and signal mechinism could be an issue,but dont think so.There is a black plastic spacer,too.Usually, the coper foil tells you that it is going bad by honking your horn when making turning.
