I noticed that the radiator fan was kicking on more than usual so I dropped the clamshell, pulled out the spare and took a peek under there. A piece of foil-backed insulation was blocking some of the airflow so I trimmed it off. Then I wondered if it makes any difference in the air flow from the radiator when the wheel sits in the clamshell right side up or upside down.

Has anyone noticed any difference? Which way do you keep your spare?

Just curious...
