Just as I thought. I was already expecting the cashiers check for more than
the listed amount trick. As for Paypal, I offered Paypal as payment but also
said I would take Money order (or cash if they are picking up).
How can one tell is a Cashier's check/Money order is real or not? Beside
trying to cash it and seeing if it goes through.
If the payment is the right amount and goes through ok is there anything
fishy I should be looking out for in shipping/pick up? Aside from making
sure that happens in a public place is there any scam they can get me on
with that?
I have used EBay for years but this is my first attempt at selling anything
- I probably could have done it a bit better. Either way I have been looking
out for the scam the entire time so at least I'm on the look out.
It's a shame really all I want to do is sell a few things to fund getting my
bus(es) back on the road.
