When I was a kid, I would work on my VW bug in a foot of snow, at 0 deg. There were times the neighbors would call the police, for waking them at 3 am on a snow covered night. I once was yelled at, in an auto parts, for getting snow all over the parts counter. The coldest its ever was that I had to get work done outside, it was -16 deg. Oil turns to glue, and starting fluid doesn't. Multiple layers of closes work the best, combine with hard work to generate plenty of heat. Fast forward 30 years and it slows me down now of days, but worst I'm still without a conveyent garage. I've gotten to the point were I plan ahead for the winters. The biggest resent mistake I've made was owning a vehcile that requires a state inspection in Jan. Good luck with the garage search Joe. W
