Subject: extra heat up front
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Greet ins all. I was getting ready for winter and I decided to duct the rear heater to the front .I made a frame behind the front seats out of furring strips 1' x 2" and zipped tied to the coat hooks. I then use a plastic window insulator kit around the frame. I then ran a piece of duct from the front of the heater ( a rectangular 4 x 10" into 4" round) and added a flexile 4 inch dryer vent and have it between the front seats. I am amazed at the heat that is moving up front and staying there because of the clear plastic partition I put behind the seats. The cost was 6.95 for the 4 x 10 x 4 duct , 5.oo for the dryer vent and the biggie -9.00 for the clear plastic kit and about a hour in time.
