Volks,

it appears that I need to replace or repair the front heater core - (symptom are a smell of coolant when heater is turned on, and flashing temp-gauge LED although coolant system is full and aftermarket engine temp gauge indicates normal engine temp.) Three questions -

1) Can anyone suggest a link to easily understood instructions for what I'm told is not a fun job,

2) Where can I get a replacement heater core if that's what is needed, also a blower motor since that went out some time ago and I may as well replace it now,

3) Which hoses should I order with the above? The radiator and its two hoses are new.

By the way this is a recent Subaru conversion. Apologies to those who are on both lists!

Thanks in advance

Steve.
