Please, let's not start having lots of email traffic about who is getting what spam messages. I have gotten that one and it is a typical spam message like ones that my spam filters pick up a dozen or more times a day.

Who wants our vanagon lists to degenerate into "who got what" spam discussions?

I doubt many of you will do this, and I hesitated before putting this into the email, but maybe this will prevent lots of replies.

This is very different from John Rodgers asking for emergency help about his urgent computer needs. To me, John's problem is OK because of its seriousness. (And I wish that only people who really knew what they were talking about would reply as now people like Sudhir are having to correct erroneous advice.)
