A while back, wind noise was driving me crazy in my 81 Westy. I used residential weather stripping (good black foam stuff) to seal forward "up/down" channel. I simply pressed it into the channel, (you may need to cut width to fit) and carefully rolled window up and down a few times to seat it.

If you use this method, use a thickness that will let the window actually wind up without binding or feeling too tight to roll up. I don't recall thickness of stripping.

I beleve there are vendors who sell replacment parts for this. Mine was temporary fix, but is still holding.

Cheers,

Neil.
