Hello All,

If my "you made a mistake" postinghas offended anyone please accept my apology. I have been a list member of both the sycnro and vanagon lists for six years now so I hope you will be able to indulge me on this one.

For those on the Vanagon list, you may recall an automated "out of office" message from John Wallace a year or so ago which became a topic of discussion. Imdeed, if you check the archives I believ it was me that first indicated John was AWOL.

I believe this "you made a mistake" is a similar message, an automated one sent by someone who has subscribed to the syncro list (it does NOT appear on the regular Vanagon list) but who's e-mail address has died fro some reason. Now that I've narrowed it down I hope to get in touch with the syncro list moderator to get things fixed up.

Rest assured I will not forward e-mails to the list about size increasing wonder drugs, etc. For those who question its relevance this e-mail, and the original one was list related, in that it pertained directy to list membership and its administration.

Sorry for any inconvenience, Chris
